Rose Boyd is currently the CEU Specialist for e-Hazard, handling all aspects of certification of e-Hazard courses for continuing education credit for electricians and engineers. She works with state electrical and engineering boards as well as professional associations to expand and maintain e-Hazard's certifications on a nationwide basis. She also handles fulfillment and inventory for ArcStore, which is the primary resource for arc rated hair nets and beard nets used in industry.
Before joining e-Hazard, Rose served as the executive director of a transitional housing program for homeless families in Oldham and Trimble counties, Kentucky, for nearly ten years. She holds a master's degree in social work from the University of Georgia. Prior to obtaining her social work degree, Rose was employed as a writer and editor. She was a correspondent for the Detroit bureau of Business Week magazine, specializing in social issues reporting, and was Manager of Public Relations for Kelly Services, an international corporation providing temporary employment solutions to business. At Kelly Services and as a freelance writer working with major corporations, Rose was involved in large research projects and the creation of publications for business and consumer audiences. She obtained a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Michigan and remains a loyal (i.e., rabid) fan of the Michigan Wolverines.
Rose is a member of the board of directors of Foundation of Hope Ministries food bank, where she helps with fundraising efforts. She is married and has two children.
