Electrical Safety Skills Workshop

With Touring Lab

Overview

The Electrical Safety Skills Workshop combines industry expertise with the opportunity for students to participate in hands-on electrical activities using the Touring Lab.

The Workshop provides practice in various scenarios related to the electrical equipment contained in the Touring Lab. Students practice working with PPE and planning tasks using safe work practices, and then follow through on the tasks. Developing these skills into habits is a critical part of keeping workers safe. This training brings a real-world depth to electrical skills and helps students understand where troubleshooting ends and “working on” begins.
