ASTM F2757 – 20 Standard Guide for Home Laundering Care and Maintenance of Flame-Resistant or Arc-Rated Clothing

This standard has been updated with more accurate terminology (“arc rating” has replaced the older term “arc resistant”) and more guidance on laundering. 

This standard is useful for referencing to guidance to employees especially in absence of manufacturer’s guidance on home laundering.  It is a sister standard to the industrial laundering guide from the same committee.

While the guide does not provide direct information about COVID-19, properly laundering following this advice is in line with CDC recommendations.
