The  police horse named Hercules was on duty at an agricultural show in Perth when he died after collapsing twice near and light pole.  The horse collapsed the first time while adjacent to a light pole, but fully recovered.  The second time he collapsed, the police officers who were attempting to remove his saddle and bridle recieved electic shocks and realized the horse was being electricuted.  Emergency measures were taken to revive the horse but were  unsuccessful.  The police officers  were observed at the hospital after receiving minor shocks.  The accident is under investigation but speculation was that, “The tower was live. The horse either came into contact with it, or got too close to it.”
