The Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI) has named Schneider Electric as the recipient of the 2012 Safety Award for Excellence (SAFE), for its efforts in fighting counterfeit electrical products. The SAFE Award recognizes a company, nonprofit association or other industry-related organization for active and sustained efforts in support of ESFI’s mission to reduce electrically-related fatalities, injuries and property loss.

“Schneider Electric has a long-standing reputation as a leader in safety,” stated ESFI president Brett Brenner. “Their dedication to ESFI’s mission of electrical safety is evidenced by the aggressive actions they have undertaken to combat counterfeit electrical products, a serious and growing threat to public safety.”
