A Little History on the Scholarship

ISEA actively works to enhance the field of Health and Safety. They also work to encourage and enable college students to enter the fields of occupational health and safety. Out of this mission, ISEA developed the Daniel K. Shipp Scholarship Fund in 2017.

ISEA recognizes the contribution of Daniel Shipp, who worked as President of ISEA for twenty-five years and made ISEA “the Voice of the Safety Equipment Industry”. During his career, Mr. Shipp successfully brought together the work of  ISEA members to make ISEA a recognized leader in the development of safety equipment standards.
