I’m pretty excited that my neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky, will be the biggest geothermal residential community constructed in the US at “Louisville’s first Traditional Neighborhood Development”, known as Norton Commons.

On January 27th, they announced that they have plans to develop the biggest 100% geothermal energy residential community in the United States of America within their 1,800-lot North Village section.  The first building being built with this technology is a public school for Jefferson County. This will provided significant savings to homeowners while also providing state-of-the-art energy efficient technology.

The transition to geothermal heating and cooling is being built with the mission of providing ‘more life per square foot’ by improving the overall comfort and maximizing space for the families that live there.  Looking forward to touring the homes and seeing the technology being built.
