Opportunity for New Electrical Engineers

Grants Being Given to Attend PCIC

Four grants will be given to qualifying electrical engineering students or recent graduates to attend the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Conference in Calgary this year.

You can help by discussing the opportunity with students or recent graduates who work for your organization about attending the conference.

IEEE Industrial Applications Society (IAS) is sponsoring the grants through the Myron Zucker Travel Program.

The Myron Zucker Travel Grant, which is administered by the Young Engineers Development Subcommittee (YEDS), provides the following benefits for the winning recipients:

  • $600 travel allowance
  • Free Hotel Registration
  • Free Conference Registration as a Student.
  • One Free Tutorial

To find out if someone you know is eligible to receive a grant, please go to http://ieeepcic.com/operating-subcommittees/young-engineers/#Myron-Zucker-Student. You will also be able to download the application there.
