Just don’t expect normal non-FR cloth to not ignite in arc flash or flash fire.  Even level 3 surgical masks which receive a flame test will ignite and melt in arc flash.

N95 masks should not be worn next to the skin unless adequately protected during energized work.

See our arc test data on N95 Masks.

See our other articles with guidance from CDC for laundering masks and garments.

We do not sell or promote brands of PPE.  ArcWear is a testing lab, and e-Hazard provides electrical safety training.

Stay safe.
