Pacific Coast Safety Fest in Hawaii

For those of you on the West Coast and Hawaii, you have a great opportunity to find out more about keeping your employees safe on the job at the 2016 Pacific Coast Safety Fest in Hawaii.

On March 17-18, seminars and workshops will be provided for FREE for small business owners, professional technical educators, and employers whose businesses are required to follow OSHA standards. Not only are the seminars being taught for free but also the materials given out will be distributed at no cost to the attendees.

The bulk of this two-day event will be taught by Van Howell on OSHA Outreach Construction. Workshops will be presented by various presenters, including SeaRay Beltran, an e-Hazard Train the Trainer graduate. One of those workshops will cover the NFPA 70E 2015 changes.

Other workshops will cover roadway safety, construction confined space standard, and basic rigging awareness.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration, in partnership with the Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA) and the University of California, San Diego OSHA Training Institute Education Center, will be hosting the safety expo.

You can register for this public service event at this website.
