Two horses collapsed and died after apparently being electrocuted while standing in the parade area at Newbury race track in UK.  The track is closed while the  investigation proceeds.  OK, I love horses and hate to see them electrocuted.  Did you know that firefighter deaths, electrician deaths and the death of horses (pulling the fire equipment) led to the founding of the National Electrical Code. OK, I might have imagined the horses deaths being key but whatever it takes to get people protected with good procedures, electrical safety practices (habits) and good electrical safety training, I’m for!
